Asked Questions about RMST and the Titanic! The United States Federal Court recognized that RMS Titanic, Inc. has taken responsibility for the historical preservation of the wreck through its conservation of recovered artifacts and its commitment to keep the artifacts together as a collection for public exhibition, without sale to private collectors. The efforts of RMS Titanic, Inc., in its capacity as exclusive salvor of the wreck of the Titanic, prevents others from plundering the wreck site for private individual gain. As the only entity that has recovered and conserved items from the Titanic, the company is in the unique position to present, in a previously untold manner, a visible and tangible perception of the Titanic by the exhibition of these artifacts to the general public. Such exhibitions have been and will be presented to the public in an enlightening and dignified manner that embodies respect for those who lost their lives and embraces the advances in science that have permitted the memory of the Titanic to be physically presented to current and future generations. During five research and recovery expeditions conducted in 1987, 1993, 1994, 1996 and 1998, RMS Titanic, Inc. has recovered nearly 5000 artifacts from the wreck site. RMS Titanic, Inc. is a publicly traded company listed on the OTC Bulletin Board under the ticker symbol SOST. |
